Our team has two major platforms for building websites: Sites and Sites+. Choose from the type of website below for instructions on how to create your new site.
Sites: Faculty and Lab Sites
If you are a faculty member at Iowa State interested in creating a site for yourself or your lab, we've created a tool called ISU Sites that allows you to build your own turnkey website with a few clicks. Visit sites.iastate.edu to start building your site now.
Sites+: Programs, Centers, Departments, and Beyond
Whether you are a department, program, center, college, or any other Iowa State University unit in LAS or CALS, we can create a site for you using our Sites+ platform.
Websites built with Sites+ are created by our team in collaboration with you. Once you contact us, we'll reach out and schedule a consultation where we can meet and assess your needs, timeline, and the best way we can create the site you're looking for. From there, we'll start building your site in our staging area where you can see progress in real time. You'll have access to make changes and create content before the site goes live.
All websites built in our Sites+ platform include capabilities for our most-requested features, including People Profiles, Projects, News, Events, and a customized homepage, and ongoing support from our team after launch - including full analytics so you can measure success.
